There is always something that haunts us.
Our golden shadows like to hide because of the narratives we have told ourselves for far too long. Our pasts determine our present and our future.
Whatever it is that weighs down your inner light must be confronted. Not challenged. But acknowledged. This kind of confrontation is typically quiet. It takes solitude. It takes commitment. It takes a whole lot of bravery. And then, it is instinctual.
You are out of the forest now. The trees have shed their leaves. The light is all around you. The only shadow you feel is on your back: and it’s a golden one. A warm presence. A new friend. A new self.
