'You Left the Light on, Again'

$350.00

Oil painting on panel. 6” x 6” inches. 2025.

Original painting - one available.

Framed, titled, dated, and signed.

'You Left the Light on, Again' is inspired from a season in my own marriage where my husband and I functioned on very different schedules. We were ships in the night. He would come home at night and I would already be asleep, but made sure to leave a light on for him. This is a tender piece about missing one another, but showing small tokens of affection along the way.

Diane. I met her in 2013 in City Market with her husband, David. Diane would knit and David would make spoon rings. They were an electric pair, and each very talented at their craft. The first visit, I bought a spoon ring with my roommate, Molly.
