STATEMENT

My artwork illuminates the realities in human intimacy and experience of the self. It explores quiet nuances of interpersonal relationships through themes of safety, love, power dynamics, and personal developments. Centering around internal complexities and the delicate dance that can take place in various attachments.

Working primarily with oil on linen and multi-media installations, I want to shed light on emotional closeness. I have long been influenced by the ways light can transcend the ordinary into something sacred. Through the process of rendering invisible bonds, each painting reveals a narrative with psychological subtleties. Unspoken moments are encapsulated in cinematic tones with intentional gesture. Light and body language tell the story.

Within each of these moments, it allows the viewer to examine the intricate bond of belonging with oneself, someone, or something.
